When does lace go toooooooooooooooo far....?

I always asked myself if you can go tooooooooooooo far with lace.
Is there a real answer for that or simply your point of view?!

I guess even a large lace tattoo can be great if lace is what you stand for. Personally  I think it looks great, but I can;t imagine to ink myself in lace....

You all know how much I love lace and lace dresses, but when you start to look like a lace curtain I guess you went tooooooooo far....
Sorry Karlie Kloss I normally love your style and your photo shoots are always a success, but this dress is a no go! I know it;s a Valentino but still.....

And here is another lace overload.....

It;s not only boring, but unflattering and simply looks cheap. Lace is meant to make you elegant and sophisticated as well as very feminine and give you an easiness and flatter you. This jumpsuit is so far from all these attributes.

And I'm sorry as cute as baby North is but lace should not be on such a young body and specially not in black. It;s not only looking depressing, and drags her down, but her skin is way tooooooo sensitive to wear lace. It's strange and kitschy!

When does lace go tooooooooooooooo far for you?

Since I have shown you a few negative examples of lace, let me show you sophisticated lace examples, that not only flatter you but make people smile for the right reasons.

Feminine, soft and sophisticated.... this is how this kimono would make me feel....

Lace is to me still best executed by haute couturiers like E Saab.

We careful how you wear lace! :)

XOXO,
